After almost 16 years, our little buddy finally had enough. He was half Pit and half Lab, and according to our vet, the oldest of his breed in town. I got him as a small puppy back when I was 20 years old. Cripes, I don't even remember much of life back then...I've just always had him. He has always been here. His constant adventures like The Bloat have kept smiles on our faces the whole time. He was a very well behaved, loving creature and we miss him horribly. Even the cats loved him.
He recently started having small seizures, and yesterday finally decided he wasn't hungry anymore. He had a really bad fit this morning, and couldn't walk too well afterward. We didn't want him to suffer anymore, and had to take him in to the vet and say goodbye. Even though his little body was used up and worn out, he just wanted to be with us. It was sure tough to see him go. It will be impossible to ever replace him.

I got such an overwhelming response from my first batch of SPAM poetry, that I kicked back one evening and churned out some more. Writing in a haiku style specifically about everyone's favorite canned meat is a real challenge. Here's the new stuff...I hope they touch you deeply. I'd love to hear what you think of them!Pork shoulder and ham...
Are there other things in Spam?
Lips and ring-muscles.
New email address?
You cannot escape blue can,
Spam will still find you.
Why you run from Spam?
An easy, kind, gentle meal.
Spam means you no harm.
Wise and all knowing.
Don't just pretend to like it...
Spam not easily fooled.
Famine abolished.
"Care packages" sent abroad.
Spam for everyone.
Matrimonious.
A feast for family and friends.
Spam plans to be there.Pink meaty sculpture.
The light glistens on the gel.
A Spam centerpiece.Hours spent whittling.
Proudly poised in artful stance.
Other food jealous.
Long, boring meetings.
Droning on and on: blah blah
Dreaming of fried Spam.
Must feed the platoon.
Institutional sized Spam.
Go get the forklift!
Spam with strange powers.
Casts a spell upon the starved.
Burn at the stake, witch!
Long car trip ahead.
Spam can wedged against engine.
Pull-tab, rest-stop meal.
Sitting on the shelf.
Ignored until the blackout.
Now Spam saves the day.

Photo Albums
Selected images from my photo collection. Yes, even the one of me with a perm. Amazing, never before seen pictures of myself and friends at play, brushes with fame, various hotrods, aircraft that I fly, bands I've been in, travels abroad and bizarre pic's I don't show visitors that come to the house...for good reason. Visit my Baby Album, the Band Pictures or Misc. Photos. There will be Flying photos and more someday.![]()
Our vocalist Kari moved away, and Kickstart came to an end. Some of the members are starting up a new band, while others are off doing different things. Visit the KICKSTART tribute webpage for action photos and other neat stuff.

EXPLODING
DOGS!!New COLOR photo!
On the 4th of July 1994, my dog nearly blew up. This story is completely true and you are guaranteed at least a chuckle. The dog has recovered completely from The BLOAT and seems to have totally forgotten the entire episode. He still scarfs cat food whenever and wherever he finds it!
